All My Children alum Eric Nelsen lands his dream role: new dad

Former All My Children star Eric Nelsen (ex-A.J. Chandler) and his wife, Sainty Nelsen, came up with a really cute way to share the news that they are expecting a baby.

Congratulations are in order for former All My Children star Eric Nelsen (ex-A.J. Chandler) and his wife, Sainty Nelsen. The couple has announced that they are bringing a baby into the world.

The actor, who also plays Daniel Garrett on The Bay, shared the news on Instagram with a cute photo of the pair sitting in Hollywood-themed director's chairs with the titles "mom" and "dad." The photo came with the caption: "Our biggest production yet! There has been one role I've wanted to play my whole life... just booked it!"

Nelsen and his wife have been married since November 2013. Their upcoming bundle of joy will be the couple's first child.

Nelsen is best known for his work playing A.J. Chandler in the Prospect Park/Hulu revival of All My Children. His most recent television credits include the recurring role of Bram on Showtime's hit drama The Affair and the role of Ace McMahan on the upcoming series FraXtur.
