It looks like General Hospital's Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) will be getting more good company on his series Grand Hotel: his former costar Richard Burgi (ex-Paul Hornsby) has joined the ABC soap.

ABC's upcoming drama Grand Hotel is getting soapier by the minute. The primetime series, executive produced by The Young and the Restless star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Brana), has cast General Hospital alum Richard Burgi (ex-Paul Hornsby).

The former daytime star -- who's also known as Another World's Chad Rollo, As the World Turns' Glenn Harrington, One Life to Live's Randy Stone, and Days of our Lives' Phillip Collier -- has taken on the role of hotel group owner Michael Finn in the soapy drama that is set against the backdrop of a Miami Beach hotel. According to Deadline, "Mr. Finn might seem charming, but this shrewd businessman's presence in Miami Beach means trouble for the Mendoza family and the staff of the Riviera Grand."

As Soap Central previously reported, Burgi's former GH costar Bryan Craig stars on Grand Hotel as Javi, a "no-filter playboy who loved to disobey his father," while All My Children alum Denise Tontz (ex-Miranda Montgomery) stars on the series as Javi's sister Paloma, a "headstrong young woman determined to do what's right for the family business." Longoria is set to guest star as Beatriz, a shrewd businesswoman and former owner of the hotel.

Burgi left GH in 2016 after playing the role of Paul for two years. In addition to reportedly taking on a role in the pilot for Manopause opposite former AMC star Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery), he can be seen in a multi-episode arc on Crackle's The Oath.

Grand Hotel will be premiering on ABC as a mid-season pickup in early 2019. To watch a teaser trailer for the series and to see some behind-the scenes photos shared by Bryan Craig, check out this article.
