Crystal Hunt facing felony charge following bar altercation

One Life to Life and Guiding Light vet Crystal Hunt has been charged with felony assault charges following an altercation at a California bar. Hunt earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2005.

One Life to Live and Guiding Light vet Crystal Hunt (ex-Stacy Morasco, OLTL; ex-Lizzie Spaulding, GL) has been charged with felony assault charges stemming from a December altercation at a West Hollywood bar.

Hunt was arrested on December 13 after she allegedly threw a "pint glass" into another woman's face during an incident at Pearl's Liquor Bar. Hunt posted bail and was released the next morning.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has now filed felony assault with a deadly weapon charges against Hunt. If convicted, Hunt could face up to four years in jail.

Hunt's attorney, meanwhile, maintains that Hunt was not drinking at the time of the alleged altercation and that the unnamed female victim had been threatening Hunt before the incident occurred. Hunt also states that she'd asked security at the bar to have the woman removed, but security had failed to do so.

TMZ reports that Hunt's lawyer added that "Hunt meant to throw her water at the woman, but the glass accidentally slipped out of her hand."

Hunt made her daytime debut as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light in 2003. During her three-year stint on GL, Hunt earned a 2005 Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. Hunt later appeared on One Life to Live from 2009 to 2012.
