Abc @ soapcentral.com
Wow! I never come bloggin anymore-just can't seem to find time, although I do try to read and keep up with everyone's blogs.
First can we get real! Who did'nt know Clay Aiken was GAY? I can't be the only one who reads PerezHilton.com.--and I'd like to send a get well wish to TravisBarker and DJAM(AdamGoldstein) and condolences to the family of those who lost their lives in that plane crash in S.C..
Now I have some spare minutes here's what I'm thinking about...
***********************************************************************************
GENERAL HOSPITAL-If you've read my blog before you know I'm a huge Liz/Jason fan, and-oh happy day Liason is a comin=I can feel it. Their getting more and more scenes together; Liz has finally grown a pair(for lack of a better term) and is going for her man> and is'nt taking orders from others including Jason- that they can't be together.
Sonny/Kate-The wedding is coming up it's supposed to be chaotic. I know a lot of people don't like Kate, and I have my own problems with her, but for some strange reason I like her with Sonny; even though I can't stand Sonny(sometimes).
Is it wrong I want Jason and Sonny back together-they are and were always the best couple on GH-lol.
So is Laura really all in Lulu's head? I have'nt heard. If anyone knows please let me know, cuz I only read Liason spoilers.
***********************************************************************************
SUPERNATURAL-So Dean is out of HELL- and pulled out by an Angel no less. I must admit I did'nt see that coming, but now I see them going in more of a God VS. the DEVIL sort of way...Like the Keanu Reeves movie "CONSTANTINE" or the MattDamon BenAffleck movie "DOGMA" that's what the writer of Supernatural Eric Kripke says anyway. Those are good movies(watch them if you have'nt) so I say bring it on. What's up with Sam and his new found ability to kill demons with his mind-and that chick that supposed to be the new Ruby-I do not like her. Will Dean tell Sam about his heavenly connection? Will Sam tell Dean about his power/s? When will Dean remember his HELLish experience? and is Sam having sexual relations with Ruby the demon in that humans body?. So many questions.
***********************************************************************************
T.V I also watch- "DANCING W/THE STARS"(ABC)- "BOSTON LEGAL"(ABC)- "HEROES"(NBC)-"PRISON BREAK"(FOX)-"TERMINATOR the SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES"(FOX)-"FRINGE"(FOX)-"SMALLVILLE"(theCW)-"UGLY BETTY"(ABC)-"KITCHEN NIGHTMARES"/Hells Kitchen"(FOX)-"GONE COUNTRY"(CMT)-"TRUE BLOOD"(HBO)-"ENTOURAGE"(HBO)

This is'nt even counting TV specials such as award shows, David Blaine, Oprah, Ellen Degenerous, Saturday Night Live, ESPN-Sportcenter ETC. and all sports I watch. Political coverage- 24 hour news-. Yes I'm a TV addict. -So if you like any of those-or have any suggestions for other shows I should watch(cuz I don't watch enough)let me know. PLUS MOVIES.
***********************************************************************************
SPORTS-
NASCAR-Kyle Busch done blowed up, and I love it. I know I should'nt celebrate someone's bad luck, but I love KARMA.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. not doing to well- but I think he'll start doing better-hopefully.I don't start counting anyone out till after TALLEDEGA..What crawled up Greg Biffles butt? he just started winning all of a sudden. Where is AJ Allmendinger gonna go?
___________________________________________________________________________________
NFL-
My DALLAS COWBOYS are 3-0 their doing real good..hopefully they'll keep it going!
BuffaloBills-DenverBroncos-TennesseeTitans-NYGiants, are also 3-0, I believe.
Oh gosh, I always come here attempting to just give a little update on things, and I go on and on-So I'll just say; talk to you soon.

Here Today, Gone Tomorrow: A Statistical Look at Canceled Soaps
With the constant rumors of NBC pulling the plug on Days (which I hope never happens mind you), I got a little curious as to how many soaps have been canceled and dug into my old, faithful book, “The Soap Opera Encyclopedia” (published in 1997). As the findings were pretty interesting, I thought I’d share them! Please note, the shows written into the first list were canceled after the book was published, but I wanted to add them to the total. The second list is the names of the shows just for giggles as some of the titles are pretty laughable!
Network: Number of Cancelled Soaps:
ABC 10 published + Port Charles = 11
CBN* 1
CBS 17
Direct TV 1 (Passions (again))
Dumont 1
Fox 1
NBC 34 published + Another World, Passions & Sunset Beach = 37
TBS 1
*Christian Broadcast Network
Network: Canceled Shows:
Please note, some shows were canceled on one network then picked up by another only to be cancelled again. I’ve added the airdates after the show to specify them as well as specifying if a show went through a name change.
ABC The Best of Everything; Dark Shadows; The Edge Of Night (1975-1984); Flame In The Wind (1964; renamed A Time For Us and ran from 1964 -1966); Loving (1983-1995; renamed The City and ran from 1995-1997); Never Too Young; The Nurses; Port Charles; Ryan’s Hope; A World Apart; The Young Marrieds
CBN Another Life
CBS The Brighter Day; Capitol; The Clear Horizon; The Edge Of Night (1956-1975); The Egg And I; The First Hundred Years; Full Circle; How To Survive A Marriage; Love Is A Many Splendored Thing; Love of Life; The Road Of Life; Search For Tomorrow (1951-1982); The Secret Storm; The Seeking Heart; Valiant Lady; Where The Heart Is; Woman With A Past
Direct TV Passions (2008)
Dumont A Woman To Remember
Fox Tribes
NBC Another World; Ben Jerrod; The Bennetts; Bright Promise; Concerning Miss Marlowe; The Doctors; Fairmeadows, U.S.A.; First Love; Follow Your Heart; From These Roots; Generations; Golden Windows; The Greatest Gift; Hawkins Falls; Hidden Faces; Kitty Foyle; Lovers And Friends (1977; renamed For Richer, For Poorer and ran from 1977 -1978); Miss Susan; Moment of Truth; Morning Star; One Man’s Family; Our Five Daughters; Paradise Bay; Passions (1999-2008); Portia Faces Life; Return To Peyton Place; Santa Barbara; Search For Tomorrow (1982-1986); Somerset; Sunset Beach; Texas; These Are My Children**; Three Steps To Heaven; A Time To Live; Today Is Ours; The World Of Mr. Sweeney; Young Dr. Malone
TBS The Catlins
** Please note, “These Are My Children” aired from January 31 to February 25, 1949 and preceded ABC’s “All My Children” (1970) by 21 years … AKA NBC did not rip off the title.
There are currently only eight soaps still on the air: All My Children, As The World Turns, The Bold & The Beautiful, Days, General Hospital, Guiding Light, One Life To Live and The Young & The Restless.
If you haven't seen The Mole or Wipeout yet, you dont know what you're missing. These are the best two reality tv shows that are on right now, along with The Baby Borrowers that comes on WE. Please support these shows. They deserve to have as many seasons as Survivor and The Bachelor.
Wipeout: Tuesdays at 8:00 pm
The Mole: Mondays at 10:00 pm
Baby Borrowers: Thursdays at 10:00 pm
(Note: These dates and times are still tentative and are subject to change, but I will try my best to keep this list as accurate as possible.) If you see any shows missing or know of a change in time or scheduling that I have missed, please leave me a post, and I'll add the info or fix the problemo.

So, what April shows are you most looking forward to seeing? As much as I love re-runs of The Office, I will giddly welcome new episodes! And, I'm dying to see what's next on Desperate Housewives! Other shows that I will welcome back with open arms are: Gossip Girl (my guilty pleasure), My Name is Earl, and Samantha Who?.
By the end of April, The Bachelor will probably be over, so I'll try to cover the CW's new dating show The Farmer Wants a Wife.
Showing 1 - 5. [ Next ]
