How totally awesome was it on Friday's OLTL when Shane yelled out to Adriana, "Hey Ugliana!" and then opened a shaken-up soda can that spewed on her!!!!  Kids can definitely sense a person's true character, and Shane called it as far as Adriana goes a long time ago.  Not ideal behavior from a 10-year old (or anyone for that matter), but he was defending his mom, and it was hysterical!!!

 

And Gigi's line to Adriana:  "Translation please, I don't speak **tch." Fantastic!  And then Brody (in nothing but his underwear, by the way) physically carred Ugliana out of the carriage house.  I've got to say, Brody may not be Mr Upstanding Citizen, but he is pretty stinkin hot!

I'm a little behind on One Life to Live.  Heck, I'm behind on everything.  My TiVo is pretty backed up.  I think I only have about 40% free space, and I have a huge one with HD capacity.  I am at least 6 or 7 episodes behind on all my soaps.  But that hasn't stopped me from coming up with my latest OLTL theory.  We have known for awhile that Melissa Fumero is leaving the show and we will be bidding adieu to Adriana, who I must say I have come to dislike immensely over the last few months.  I mean, there's nothing wrong with fighting for your man, but she's gotten downright nasty.  (Take a tip from Marshana and Robin, formerly of The Bachelor).

 

My prediction is that Adriana's major personality shift is the result of mental illness.  There has never been a shortage of mental illness on the show, and it runs in the Cramer family.  Addie and Melinda, Dorian's sisters and Adriana's aunts, have been institutionalized most of their lives.  Although I have to admit that if I were going to have a mental illness, I would prefer to follow Viki/Niki and Jess/Tess and go with multiple personality disorder.  But alas, the world is not as I would choose and we cannot pick our mental illnesses.  I think we will witness Adriana have a total break with reality in the weeks to come and be carted off to Addie's old room at Saint Ann's.  Remember, you heard it here first....

I want people to be wrong about Tommy being Todd’s biological son. It could come out during the custody battle that Spencer meant to put everyone on the wrong trail and that Todd’s son is actually another child. Mike and Marcie can then keep Tommy and Todd and Blair can raise his son.

I’m glad that Starr and Cole are back together because it was tiresome to see two teens pining away for each other as if it was the end of the world. I actually find the pairing of Langston and Markko more interesting.

I don’t care for Miles or Marty and so I hope they stay together and continue to make each other miserable. I definitely don’t want Marty to be with John. He was angry with Natalie when she tried to suppress evidence that may have implicated him yet John the supercop hasn’t been forthcoming with what he knows regarding Marty’s involvement.

It’s my guess that Paige will leave the country to join “Doctors without borders” and then be revealed as Spencer’s real killer. Since she is away and Spencer was a jerk, they can let her be. Bo will then be free to reunite with Lindsay.

Tate’s father is stupid for putting the focus on himself. Even if Tate stops terrorizing others, his idiotic associates will continue. “Generations”, a now cancelled NBC soap, had a storyline involving a racist white man who was sexually involved with a black woman. It was then said that a man like him believes that a woman like that is “only good for one thing”. So I could see if Tate was using Adriana and/or Layla as such but he is helping them advance their business; which goes beyond a front. Due to his ridiculous racism, its obvious that he would want to break-up Adriana and Rex yet he is helping a minority owned company to prosper. Tate was a public figure, who went through a steroid scandal, so why didn’t all of his junk come out at that time? His wife divorced him supposedly because she is unlike him yet she continues to keep his secret. This storyline wasn’t well planned.

Now that Nigel will soon have an abundance of time on his hands after Asa’s passing, he and Roxy can resume their relationship.
