Come One... Come All... Gather Round and we shall discuss the utter train wreck that has befallen our precious soap! With that being said... here goes the weekend rant... Hope you enjoy!
TOP 3 HATERS:
Liason: We know this already. However, Guza has taken it one step further... the return of the safehouse and marriage in secret. The cheese just keeps on coming. You didnt see much of Liason, however, this week, so that was nice. You didnt see much of anyone else other than Carly Sonny Ric Jax Jerry and Alexis though either. AH well you win some you loose some!
Everyone blaming themselves for Michael shooting. I know alot of people are/ and should be carrying this on their conscience (ie Carly Sonny Jason) but people who have absolutly nothing to do with the situation are feeling guilty. I can understand Max feeling guilty though... but not Diane or Alexis. Ian Johnny Claudia and Jerry should be... i guess they are in their own little way!!!
Maxie and Lulu need to be seaprated. Their desks are not far enough away from each other. They fight like cats and dogs and make about as much noise. Now i love the character of Maxie (Go Kirsten) but lord help me if i have to deal with this much longer. Kate should grow a backbone and fire Lulu, its obviousl she doesnt want this job as much as Maxie does. Lulu has never really wanted for anything... everything just comes natural to her. Maxie has had to work a little harder for everything she has gotten and i sort of respect a character that works their way up.

Sonny's quote to Anthony Z. "Kill Me... if you can" Pretty much all of MB lines he has hit dead on... He is a phenominal actor and have very much enjoyed watching his magic on screen.
Anthony Z to Ric Lansing "If you have a good lawyer you can do anything" JACK IN THE BOX... scared the living crap out of Ric. AWESOME!
Max to Sonny "we do things we might not usually do... like sleep with Diane" WOW! Subtlty, not your strong suit Max. Lovin' the max and diane relationship. Obviously, it wont last very long because they actually have chamistry and work well together(unlike ahem... Liason). But i will enjoy it until the end! Loved Alexis and diane fighting over shoes today... that was awesome!
Jerry and Alexis- Steamy... What else can i say... WOW! Hot!
Possibility of the return of Bonnie and Clyde... maybe not to their former glory, but it would be a start!!! All for Jason/Sam friendship /Ian storyline! Cool beans... ok so this one may be a little far fetched but look in the scenes for next week. Jason askes Sam if she knows anything about Ian Devlin. Could be a con storyline on the rise!!!

If you're still reading, then you don't mind spoilers. But I'll use spoiler tags for awhile, just so that all my bases are covered.
Rumors, spoilers and talks with Rick Hearst and Nancy Lee Grahn at their recent events seem to indicate that GH is about to get a little (and yes, probably very little) "reckless" this November. Here's me thinking, " Yeah of course Guza pulls out the big guns for sweeps. Asshole."
According to all spoilers/rumors/Rick and Nancy, both Ric and Alexis are attending a ball at Wyndemere. Of course chaos ensues. The power goes off. It sounds as though there's a natural disaster of some kind, and everyone is trapped on Spoon Island. Ric ends up with a sword in his chest. No really, he does. Alexis is the first to find him according to rumors and stays with him until help arrives, eventually she's supposed to get sick, but that's irrelevant to this discussion.
Supposedly, they have a heart to heart during this time, and Ric apologizes to her for all the crap he's done, and owns up to hurting her as much as he did. They agree to stop the fighting, and some rumors say even make up a fair agreement about Molly. This truce my even turn into them being friends, down the line, other rumors say.
About damn time, if you ask me. These two have been stalled in their post Sic hell for over a year. And for every one step forward, it's been three backward. It's time for this shift.
Besides, Rexis are so the shit the during sweeps. They've owned almost all sweeps they've been part of, IMO, anyway. And this is a crisis, which happens to be their forte. They’re amazing under life and death circumstances and have always managed to check their crap at the door and be stronger together then apart. So there’s little doubt that whatever GH gives Rick and Nancy, they’ll knock it out of the ballpark, like always.
If these scenes shift the field enough, it’s possible that some of the opposition to Rexis reuniting somewhere down the line could start to fade. It’s been said by many that for these two to ever get a second chance, exactly what’s supposed to happen this November would need to be the start of the process. Of course it would have a been a long, bumpy, brutal, hard, and intensely emotional story where Ric would have to fight and struggle to win his family back, that’s a give. He’d have to win Alexis’ heart back, along with the rest of us.
Polls and posts at many boards, etc. have shown that the interest in a Rexis reunion is still there, provided the story was right. There’s no question that Ric and Nancy still have it. And there’s no question that Rexis can still generate the kind of buzz that GH needs.
That said…there’s a line in soaps that when crossed, can’t be brought back. Sometimes, drama, angst, damage, and pain is just to much, and the couple is forever ruined in the eyes of viewers. Despite chemistry, storyline, and history, sometimes the end is really the end.
Rexis, could go either way, and the argument could absolutely be made for either case being the right one. Truelove could still win out, or pain, heartache, and one to many lies could be the straw that breaks this couples back. Only time will tell.
With all that said, I get to the point of this blog….what are your thoughts on this turn of events? And would you support a Rexis reunion (if sweeps leaves them on the road to a truce)? Can they be salvaged? Would you like them to be? Why or why not? Can GH still get “reckless” or is revisiting this couple worthless?
