So, Sam and Jason broke up today (... finally). It has been coming for a long time and how could it not? She watched as his child was kidnapped. Sam is such an annoying character. It just kills me that she equates Jason not "sharing his feelings" with her on the same level as her allowing his child to be kidnapped. Seriously? How delusional are you? She yaps on and on about Jason's lies, but what about Sam's lies? Didn't exactly tell Jason that she'd been married before did she? He didn't throw that back up into her face. Jason's really sort of a too decent sort for all that. She yells at one point that she made a mistake. Now, I could have understood if she had frozen in the moment and then come forward to the police later with what she saw, but she didn't. She acted like a self indulgent little brat. She drank herself silly and just let Jason, Elizabeth and Lucky just panic for days and days over what happened to Jake. That's inexcusable no matter how hurt your feelings are.Then she walks around telling off Elizabeth and Amelia. Bah! I guess it just boils down to me not being a Sam fan.

 

I've sort of come around on Amelia. I hope they integrate her a little more into the tapestry of Port Charles. Really, I understand where she's coming from. Your father gets shot by a gold digging con artist, do you believe it was in self defense? If it was my dad I wouldn't. Then, the same gold digger is hailed as a hero, so she tries to get revenge. I don't think Amelia is a bad person.  In fact, I like her a lot better than I like Sam. Sam and Maxie can become best friends and move off to an island of bitchiness together and never come back.

 

Where was this Lucky during the kidnapping? I would feel so much more for him if we'd seen this guy. It makes me want to root for Lucky and Liz, if he could be the kind of husband everyday that he was today.

 

Sonny, Sonny, Sonny, you are just starting to get on my good side with the whole Kate thing. Don't get back on my bad side by being mean to my boy Spinelli. Behave yourself or I'll pull out my Tivo remote for your scenes. Don't think I won't do it!

 

Lulu and Logan? Sigh. I didn't hate it... completely. But I didn't really love it either. And I really love Lulu. I'm not sure I can really get behind this couple. They're a bit meh for me, but you never know. Maybe they'll grow on me. There just seems to be a lot of negative things going on around Logan.

   Amelia chose not to avenge her fathert's death because the show is a hit and has made her career yet she then told Jason that she felt as though she did something for her father by telling him about Sam. and that "shows come and go". The writers of Gh have made the Amelia character contradict herself. Amelia also mentioned that she saw a picture of her father's wife yet we are to believe that Sam supposedly never saw a picture of her husband'd daughter which is beyond ridiculous. We get it, the psycho wants to hurt Sam any way she can. Hopefully it will come out that Amelia somehow altered the paternity test and that Lucky is baby Jake's biological father. Jason could then feel that he does want a biological child with Sam and a surrogate. After all, Amelia is no longer needed in PC now that Sonny has 'Kate Howard'.

  Sam loves Jason. Jason knows that Sam loves him. Sam has been nearly killed on more than one occasion because of her involvement with Jason. Sam has numerously helped to protect those whom Jason loves. Sonny has seemed to have forgotten that it was Sam who helped protect Michael when it was believed that he mudered AJ. Sam was nearly killed at that time by Dr. Thomas and Sonny even then acknowledged that she had more honor than he'd given her credit  for having; even though she had jumped through hoops for him while pregnant with their now deceased daughter. Sam was "always searching for something/someone better until she found her home with Jason". She has said that she wants to have a baby via surrogate even if Jason won't the biological father and thus she never planned to try to "trap" him into anything. Sam now has a very well paid career and therefore doesn't need Jason's money so she is obviously with him because she truly wants to be. Jason needs to still believe in Sam. He believed in her when it appeared to others that she had kidnapped Kristina and he was right to have done so. He now should believe in her when Jake is taken, most likely by Amelia. Jason and Sam are in love.

   Is Logan's biological mother Connie Falconari? She could have hid her pregnancy during her first year of college and then placed the child up for adoption. Sonny has been one of the most fertile characters on the show but at least this child would have already been born years ago and so it isn't like he just impregnanted someone. It's also good for Logan that he is already grown (if she is his bio. mom) because Kate doesn't seem to have the time or patience for a child. I can't believe she was upset at Carly for implying that she'd "ever do anything inappropriate in front of children" after she had already yelled and insulted them on more than one occasion. Kate also told Carly that the minor Corinthos children should "respect the property boundaries" yet Kate hasn't set a very good example of respecting them herself. I'm not enjoying the Kate character. She buys a house to be near Sonny and stays at the MetroCourt to aggravate Carly. There are obviously more hotels in town; we know of at least the one at which Liz and Patrick were paying house calls to a man who was residing there when Lucky wrongfully accused them of having an affair.

  No one has ever seen Alcazar's alleged dead body and so it can then be argued that Lorenzo set-up Jason. Alcazar's voive was the only one on the recording and he did say "Morgan" but that still doesn't prove that Jason, or anyone, was actually there with Lorenzo. 'Recorded' evidence has been faked before in PC.

   I hate how everyone, especially Nikolas, acts as though Courtney never even existed.

Why Sam deserves what's coming to her.

 

She has been given a so-called 'amazing opportunity' by Amelia. She sees Amelia practically every day, and for hours on end. She confides in Amelia. Has referred to her as a close 'friend'. A friend? Have you ever seen such a one-sided friendship in your life? I'm a pretty regular GH watcher, and have never heard Sam enquire about Amelia - her past, her present, not even a simple 'How are you today?'

 

Ever since I noticed that, it's been irksome to watch her scenes with Amelia.

 

When the past blows up in Sam's face, I do wonder what kind of flashbacks she can have aside from the similar watch and Amelia's cryptic comments that Sam 'deserves' everything she gets. There won't be anything (true or false) about Amelia for Sam to reflect upon, since she simply hasn't taken the effort to enquire!

 

Grr...sorry, that's been my pet peeve for a while... :)

well, seems like the rumours i posted a few weeks ago were right....scott clifton (dillon Q of GH) is indeed flying the nest of PC :(
i dont blame him i nthe slightest, i hate how they've changed his character and made him lulu's puppy. i miss the old dillon who was so passionate about both films and georgie. i doubt they will kill him off, there really is no need for them to do so at all! i want him to fly away to ned to get into showbusiness, then have him come back for a premiere of his new film or something!
im loving GH at the moment, ok, ok, it doesn't really FEEL like sweeps does it? i've completely forgotten that it is sweeps fortnight to be honest! but i'm just loving jerry/craig and jax scenes! :) i cant wait for everyone to find out, especially sonny!!!!!! :D and bobby and alexis :)
its going to run on for a very a long time i think, and i for one am EXTREMELY happy! i just ADORE seb roche as mr craig so much, i hope he sticks around forever and ever! :) hes like a force of nature on screen, he just makes GH worth watching for me anyway :)

so...the baby reveal....can u all say ANTI-CLIMAX??? ok, sam knows.....so what? she's not confronted anyone and told AMELIA of all people!!!!!!????? why would she do that?? even tho she was drunk!!! does not make any sense :( i want amelia gone asap btw!!!!!!

im desperate to see their reactions to the secrecy! also i want lucky to know that lulu has known all along....i think that will push him over the edge to be honest...back into maxie's arms(please GOD no)or into sam's arms??? she seems to be becoming dependent on alcohol to an extent....maybe they could seek solace in their addictions?? im just speculating, i hope this doesnt happen! im still a die hard JaSam fan!(with a background in Journey however remember!!!!!!!! ;) )

anyway, next friday's the day.....when my Alcazar bids farewell to Port Chuck ... for good it seems :( no more twins in the pipeline :( gonna cry so very very very much :(

american idol tomorrow! (for me anyway!) i dont know who i want to be in the final!!! im so confused! it's just not as clear cut for me as it has been the last few years!!!!!!

Someone please explain to me how in the world GH is going to pull off the stunt of making Jerry Jacks a homicidal maniac?  Jerry was a con man, a thief, and he was definitely a smooth talker and very good at money laundering etc.  However I don't see the connection between him and Craig? I just don't.

 

Someone on another board suggested that Craig shot Robin b/c she told Nikolas that Spencer was his son and that resulted in Spencer being taken away from Jax so that explains his actions there.  He has no great love for Carly and saw her connection  with Sonny and knowing Jax was in love with her was very hateful and baiting with her and would've killed her for betraying Jax if he found the opportunity.  Also, he is now threatening Nik again due to his taking Spencer from Jax.  I guess that's plausible considering all of the other crap were supposed to believe, like Sam falling for Amelia's con hook line and sinker.  Please if she was married to the guy, Bill Munroe,  she at least knew he had a daughter, had to have seen a picture of her if nothing else? 

 

I'm *this* close to giving up on GH again.  I haven't tivoed it in days and I've only paid minimal attention during the day and at night on Soap Net.  Honestly, I turned away the other day to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on HBO so really my interest in GH is waning.

 

Spinelli and Lulu have such great chemistry, but again let's forget about fan reaction and simply train us to enjoy Logan and Lulu b/c that's the story Frons envisions.  Let's forget that people adored L&L2 and JaSam and force Liason. I no longer care about the WTD as long as Liz and Jason finally fess up and put us all out of our misery.  Then there's the Carly/Sonny, Jax/Carly tease.  I actually had my hopes up for a Carly/Sonny reunion and they completely back pedaled the writing and force CarJax back together.  They aren't real! It's very disturbing to me watching them.  Even some of their fans see how forced and fake it is.

 

Emily/Sonny pushed me to quit watching for the first time in 10 years before, the uneven writing, character assassination is pushing me again.  I'll probably stick with it, but honestly it's getting very difficult.  If I didn't have Luke/Tracy scenes and Alan as a ghost, or get a least a decent dose of Spinelli I'd probably lose my mind.

 

*sigh* I hate that I'm this attached to a soap opera, but I probably wouldn't be on SOC or blogging for that matter if I wasn't.

 

In another note, ABC and Rosie couldn't reach an agreement for a contract.  I don't particularly care for all of her views, but you can't deny she raised ratings and ABCD needed those ratings.  The View leads in AMC here on my affliate network and frankly I think when The View loses viewers ABC soaps might suffer.

 

Passions just got picked up by DirecTV and I'm wondering if that means if they do well in another syndicated market if all soaps are eventually doomed to move to cable or satellite television? 

 

Enough ranting, I'm done and have bored anyone reading this enough.
