Carols grandmother had left, so she was searching her moms important papers. If she was really adopted then certainly the adoption papers would be in with the rest. She needed to know if her mom and grandmother were telling the truth.

Tracy pushed her hair back. She was still trying to figure out who the new mysterious stockholder was.  Her future, the future of the company she had brought back from the brink of bankruptcy. Brad had no idea what it took to run a business and had nearly run it into the ground, and when she took it over she had to make cash fast. Now all of her hard work could go down the drain if she couldn’t find this person. Her phone rang, she hoped it wasn’t  more bad news, or Colin cancelling on her. It was Justin calling her.

"Hello Justin," She answered hoping he knew something.

"Hello Tracy," He responded "Ive done some digging on Speartim Holding,"

"What did you find out?" She asked anxiously.

"You were on the board of directors," He said

"Great then I’ll vote the proxy." She smiled.

"Tracy you were on the board of directors, you were let go in favor of Alyssa Hershey,"

"Brad," She spit. She believed now that he had found a way to become the major stockholder again. There was no way she was going to let him get away with this. She would figure out a way to make him pay.

Ray watched as the football payers practiced. He had always fantasized about jocks, and wished he could’ve indulged in his fantasies but because of his mother he couldn’t. He had resented her for that, he wished many times that she would just leave people alone and realize that there wasnt a way to change a persons sexuality. Sighing he turned and bumped into Ryan.

"Well hello," Ryan smiled at him.

"Hi Ryan," Ray felt himself blushing. Ryan had been one of his crushes in high school but he never talked to him because of his mother.

"Its too late," Ray must have looked dumbfounded. "To try out for football."

"Oo Yea," Ray smiled.

"Why didn’t you ever talk to me in high school?" Ryan asked, growing suspicious of Rays body language.

"Because of my mom," Ray answered honestly. "You were so out there."

"You mean gay," Ryan watched as Ray took this in.

"Yea." Ray nervously answered.

"Well why dont we try to be friends now." Ryan smiled.

"Sounds good to me." Ray felt himself blush.

Savanna bumped into Tony on her way to class. Her books fell out of her hands.

"Im so sorry," She hurriedly gathered her books. "Im such a klutz."

"A beautiful one." Tony was in awe of her. "You are gorgeous."

"Thank you." Savannah turned red "I thought after our date that you’d never want to see me again."

"Why?" He asked, staring at her.

"Well it wasn’t a very good date, mostly due to me." She looked down. It was amazing that she had even had a chance with him

"It took two to make that date awkward," He felt shy suddenly. "Why dont we hang out sometime soon?"

"Sounds good." She smiled despite feeling deflated. After he walked away she pulled out and text Kevin, Remo 911. Remo 911 stood for romance crisis in her and Kevins universe. They had devised the codes in case one of their parents got a hold of their cell phones back in high school. They had decided to keep using them.

Tracy hung up with Justin. There was no way she was going to take this lying down. Brad would not get away with not only being the major stockholder again but being the one to fire her. She called her attorney. Tyler Truman was a high profile divorce attorney, he struck fear in most of those he went against.

"Hello," He answered gruffly.


"Truman, Brad has not made any alimony or child support payments," Tracy was acting on instincts.

"I’ll file all the appropriate motions but he will argue that you dont need his money since you are making millions of dollars a year as CEO and one of the major  stockholders of Montgomery Inc." He responded in his monotone.

"That was not the agreement that he signed, and that is not what the judge ordered." Tracy responded growing irritated with him.

"Of course not, Im just telling you what he will be arguing." He paused "How much does he owe you?"

"Im not sure he hasn’t paid any alimony, child support  since the agreement was signed. That was what 4 years ago, 20,000 in child support plus 10,000 in alimony payments,  thats what?" She paused and waited while Tyler calculated the total.
"That’s $1,260,000" He answered. He listened as she cursed under her breath. "Plus you were due to be reviewed to see if a revision was needed at the end of the second year, when he started his new company." Tyler knew the entire history of Tracy and Brad, he knew that she was after blood, he just couldn’t figure out why.

"How much more can I get from him?" She asked impatiently.

"Well I suppose you could try to sue him for breach of contract." Tyler was beginning to hesitate

"Really?" She asked.


"Yes, but I can only handle filing a motion to get his papers and force him to pay what he already owes you, you’ll have to consult a litigator."

Carol was growing frustrated going through her mothers paper work. She didn’t know if her mother and grandmother were being truthful or if they were spouting lies to hurt her. In some ways she was hoping it was the latter but something deep inside her knew that they weren’t lying. Without thinking she threw a file of papers to the side. When she realized what shed done, she opened the folder inside were adoption papers.

"Time to find out who my parents are." She whispered to herself.  She gasped when  seen the name of her biological mother.....

ITS NOT REAL.... PURE FICTION

I'm a huge fan of Another World.  About 4 weeks ago I was watching Law & Order and caught Rachel Cory as a guest star.  I wish I could see her return to another hit daytime soap.

Yes, this should be fun.  It's always fun to be a newbie.  Dan again has created a great place to hang out and ignore the laundry and PTA work while I'm watching soap net, hgtv, tlc or discovery home.  I've been on Dan's boards since it was amcpages.com - the oldest email I have from him is Jan 1999 when I forgot my password.

 

As you might be aware - SN is possibly removing Another World from their schedule.  This is bad news for us fans of AW.  We lost the ability to follow our favorites in 1999 and now after a couple years of just getting the show back to the great shows of the 90s, we may have another time to go through withdrawals.  At least we have soapcentral's AW board to chat with the fans. 

 

For my port charles fellow fans, with the last schedule I got via email, PC will be on some.  For you that have DVRs, you can at least get a "fix".  I miss the early days of the show - where it was more about the interns, Lucy, Doc and Scotty (I mean of course Scott) but as a long time General Hospital Fan, he will always be Scotty. 

 

I do watch OLTL on SN most nights, which helps out with moderating the board on soapcentral but my heart belongs to AW.

 

I don't watch any prime time tv.  With 3 boys, we are either watching a video/dvd or some military or discovery show. 

 

In Real Life, I work as a programmer and volunteer with PTA and at church. 

 

I will find a picture to post that was taken in the last year,  when looking at our old family site, the only picture on there that would fit the size requirements was 10 years ago.
