Hello Everyone have something for you all today-That beautiful young lady in the picture is my BFF HOLLY HOLM, she is a FEMALE BOXER yes boxer and she's actually one of the best in the world She became well known because she can kick major ass and happens to be attractive(granted I'm a bit biased) and there's not alot of pretty female boxers(trust me I've met most of them)she used to be called the hottie Holly by the press, but she did'nt like it and changed it to the preachers daughter HollyHolm-and yes her father is a preacher, We've been BFF's since we were on a soccer team together when we were younger and then she got into gymnastics and I went into dance, she somehow or another got into kickboxing which led to boxing, now she has an upcoming bout on June13th(that's friday) her fight will be on Pay per view-ORDER IT IF YOU CAN! PLEASE. She will be fighting Mary Jo Sanders(that's the other chick in that picture) this chick is undefeated-- and despite what I said above she is pretty, wich for some reason makes me even more nervous than usual ~Holly's record is 21-1-2 (6KO's)~I just came from Holly's workout and she looks really good and ready for this fight although her boyfriend Joey and I were making her get the giggles and she was getting mad,LOL. Anyway for more info on Holly or the fight or other female fighters or just some good reading and other pictures go to** WWW.HOLLYHOLM.COM,** the fight is in our home of NM so hopefully that will benefit Holly, and if you order it on pay per view you might see me on t.v.-oh, right you have no idea what I look like, and I don't have the guts to post a pic of myself LOL ,I'll be the one behind Holly's corner looking like I'm about to have a heartattack Or if your in town near alburuerque,NM drop into Isleta casino resort to watch although tickets at this point are scarce and going for some hard cash. Before I forget Holly's boyfriend who I mentioned-his name is Joey V. and he is a MMA star-that's mixed martial arts fighter, he was just on that special fight night on CBS anyways he won, if I don't mention him he'll kill me. Back to Ms.HollyHolm, If you can't order the fight on pay per view or come down/up to Albuquerque then please pray for Holly better yet pray for me, I always get more nervous than Holly, as a matter of fact Holly's only concern is that I'll somehow end up in the ring trying to help her beat up her opponent-I hate when she gets hit, I should be used to it by now. If you don't pray- just keep us in your thoughts LOL. I'll try to check in after the fight to let everyone know how it went/goes and hopefully I can make some wallpaper that's HollyHolm.
I had some GH stuff to talk about along with Nascar and other things, but it will have to wait-I did'nt think I had that much to say about Holly-I can never just make it short and sweet, sorry if I rambled.
PEACE&LOVE
I'm not a boxing fan, I've always thought it was legalized brutality, but we were at the Club last night and they had gotten the fight on PPV for the customers, Bear was interested so we stayed and watched.
I know nothing about boxing. I didn't know who either of the fighters were, except for seeing endless commmercials during The Sopranos - and I'm really good at tuning out commercials. Me loves me mute button.
So I was totally unbiased as to who should win this thing, didn't care one way or the other.
After a couple rounds, I turned to the guy sitting next to me and said, "Uh, am I missing something? Aren't they supposed to like, HIT each other? Why does that guy keep running away from the other one?" He informed me that Mayweather, the runner, was fighting a defensive fight. I said, "looks to me like he's afraid the other guy is gonna hit him, so he just keeps running away."
For 12 rounds, that's all that happened. Once in a while, he'd get stuck in the corner and have to actually throw a punch or two to get out so he could run away again.
And they said he won. I was shocked. That was totally unfair, the guy who did all the work, who wanted to stand and fight, got screwed.
At least I won't have to see any more commercials before and after The Sopranos.
