As the court reconvened all eyes were on Babe. When  she reentered the room, there were several murmurs. She ignored them all as Tim had ordered her to do and made her way back to the witness stand.

"Is everything alright Mr. Dillon?" the judge asked. "There didnt seem to be any Paul Cramers in this court room, especially with a gun."

"Your honor I apologize, my client has been under a tremendous amount of stress and I ask that she be excused form further testimony." Tim knew he was screwed either way. If the judge allowed Babe to get off the stand it looked as though she lied and therefore would damage Krystals case, but if she were forced to stay on the stand and had another meltdown it would kill the case altogether.

"Mrs. Cudhay, any objections?" Judge Malina asked.

"No your honor." She gave Tad a knowing glance. Both knew this was a big victory for them.

"Alright, I'll excuse her. However you must register with the court clerk, there will be a hearing for contempt of court." The judge banged her gavel, and Babe stepped off the stand.  "Counsel call your next witness."

"Your honor I call Erica Kane to the stand." Livia announced proudly. The deputy went off to get La Kane.

Amanda watched her brother and prayed that none of this was held against him. He was doing the best he could with just a few hours to prepare for the trial.  She felt someone move beside her  so she looked up. It was Janet!

"Mom, you shouldn't be here." Amanda chastised.

"Dont be silly why wouldn't I be here for my favorite nephew/Stepsons first trial?" Jabet smiled broadly. "He looks so handsome."

"Things arent going well for him." Amanda confided.

"Hes a bright boy, great looking. Something good will happen." Janet smiled again

"Mom theres something Tim has to tell you soon?" Amanda averted her eyes, hoping she wasnt puttin Tim in a weird position.

"Besides him being gay?" Janet laughed softly. Erica was led into the courtroom.

Erica looked out at the crowd which seemed to have grown in anticipation of her testimony.

"Your honor we would ask that the press be escorted out due to miss Kanes celebrity status." Livia stood quickly and requested.

"No." The judge answered just as quickly. "We're not gagging for one witness but not the other." Livia approached the stand. This was a slam dunk for her, Erica was firmly on Tads side.

"How long have you known the plaintiff?" she asked.

"About 20 or so years." Erica answered, smiling.

"Would you say Mr. Martin is a model father?"

"We all make mistakes with children but yes overall I think he is a good father."

"You know his son Jamie?"

"I do," Erica smiled again. "Very handsome, just like his father."

"Where is Jamie?"

"In Africa, helping the unfortunate. Aids victim."

"No further questions." Livia sat down. Her and Tad smiled widely, that couldn't have gone better if they had scripted it.

"Your witness counsel." The judge looked at Tim. He approached Erica timidly.

"Miss Kane you were once convicted of kidnapping once also weren't you?" Tim stared at her, almost daring her to lie.

"Yes I was." Erica answered, lowered her head in shame. "I had miscarried my child with my then husband Dimtri Marrick and was suffering from undiagnosed post-partum depression." Livia and Tad both registered the hit immediately.

"And weren't you also on trial for the murder of Michael Cambias?"

"Yes but I was aquitted because I did not murder him."

"Who did?"

"Objection!" Livia yelled. "That is a separate case, one of which had been closed to the public."

"It goes to Miss Kanes parenting skills." Tim argued.

"In this instance I have to sustain the objection, the Michael Cambias murder was sealed by a judge."

"No further questions" Tim sat down. He had hoped that Bianca killing Michael would sway the judge over to Krystals side.

"I would like to re-direct." Livia announced.

"Proceed."

"Erica what are your daughters names." Livia asked

"Bianca Montgomery and Kendall Hart Slater. I also have a son Joshua Madden."

"And what are their occupations and standing in the community?"

"Bianca is a chair person on the Cambias Industries board and Kendall is majority shareholder in Fusion Cosmetics. Both are looked upon as role models for young women. Josh is a doctor this week, also very highly regarded."

"With the excellent parenting you have shown with your children, would you recommend Tad Martin as the primary caregiver for Jennifer Martin?"

"No." Erica answered. Everyone stared at her stunned.

"Why not?" Livia asked hoping Erica had something up her sleeve, like a sole custody plea.

"How could I recommend Greg Maddens torturer. Tad Martin killed another human being...."

BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

The Beginning! Part 1

 

It looks like the Bold and Beautiful is taking a direction on the dark side with no sun light in sight. This show was created by William and Lee Bell, about a Fashion House, Forrester Creation's, own and ran by Eric Forrester, head Designer, and his beloved wife, Stephanie. In the beginning, we were treated to haute couture and a peep at the life style of the Rich and Famous of Beverly Hill's.

 

At various times we were allow to travel to other countries and see some of the most beautiful garments that left us breathless and in awe! William Bell and his wife took the time to weave a story around the Forrester clan and took us for a  journey that has lasted throughout the years.

 

He was like a God, who gave life to Eric Forrester, who prove to be a weak link as head of his dynasty, and his wife Stephanie, due to his weakness, had to step up to the plate on more then one occasion to keep the family afloat. They had children, Ridge, a designer that has set the fashion world ablaze with his must have designs. Thorne, a loner, who can't seem to find his way. A daughter Kristen, who along with her designer husband, Tony, who has aides, and their adopted son, chose to live in another state. And then there is Felicia, another designer, who has always walked on the wild side, until she found her self looking death in the eyes  and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, that made her life worth living.

 

William Bell introduce us to the Spencer's, Bill and his daughter Caroline. Bill was a Tycoon giant in the Publishing World, while his daughter was a love interest for Ridge Forrester, Eric and Stephanie's, golden playboy who had a roving eye like his Dad!

While having a party for all of their elite friends, the Forrester's had it catered by a Beth Logan, not realizing at the time, that she was Eric college sweetheart, who he had dump to marry well to do Stephanie Douglass. Beth's husband, Stephen, had left her with four children, because she had never got over her college sweetheart.  That is how Storm, who became a  Lawyer, and Brooke, who ended up becoming a mattress for Eric and the Forrester males, and Donna, the latest Logan to replace Brooke in Eric bed came into the LA scene. It appears that the baby girl, Katie, has morals and has taken the high road.

Someone tell Phoebe to suck it  up and forgive Rick. Ridge forgave Ashley. I mean they were broke up, not for long but they were. He was willing to wait for her. As for the competition I keep voting for Phoebe and Rick, just cause she dont want to sing with him. Be professional baby girl. Plus I dont think Phoebe needs to be with Constantine, him and Felicia are just fine together.

 

 

I think Donna is actually falling in love with Thorne. He deserves to be happy. I dont know what the whole Taylor thing was about but he lost Darla, lost Taylor. Why should Ridge be the only happy one? I prefer Thorne to Ridge anyway.

 

I am so hoping that Taylor and Nick's baby turns out to be his and Brook's. Stephanie needs to bud out. Hope and RJ need to go back home to Brooke.

 

I'll be laughing if Eric leaves Stephanie again, I kinda like him with Jackie anyway.

where did Pamela go? they moved her out and out.

Oh, Yes, She did!

 

That damn Brooke slithered her way to the church today and I can't say I'm surprised. Does anyone else remember Taylor's wedding to Ridge when Brooke rushed to the church to tell him she was pregnant with his baby? Of course she made it there too late and was crying on the steps while Taylor and Ridge traveled to St. Thomas for their honeymoon.

 

Why does brooke even bother to go to the church? Doesn't she know that the average wedding on the bold and the beautiful lasts about 3 months? Just wait them out. By summer's end, Ticky will be divorced and have a grown son or daughter who has been SOASed. He gets his child, Taylor gets her typical shove to the curb after gestation and Brooke gets Nick back. Best part, She has time to screw him and then dump him for Ridge just in time for Christmas with Stephanie!

I love Brooke to death, but I was watching B&B today and I am really getting sick of her need to always have a man.  She dumps Ridge and has to run straight to Nick. Before that she wasn't secure in dumping Nick until she knew she had Ridge waiting in the wings.  Why does this supposedly intelligent,  competent and independent woman not feel whole without a man?  I hope Nick continues to reject her and Ridge gets swept up in Ashley's charms.  Brooke needs to be  forced to go it alone for a while.
