Desperate Housewives:

 

Last night was the first night of November Sweeps, and sweeps month is off to a good start!  This episode was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was the best of the season and one of the best throughout the whole show!  Loved it, loved it, loved it!

 

Susan had some unexpected drama going on with her.  It first appeared to be just another dumb episode dealing with her pregnancy but NO it was way better than that!  We found out one of Mike's secrets...his father, Nick, is in jail for murder!  Nick was kinda funny, how he was able to so straightforwardly tell Susan about how he killed his boss.  Poor Susan though...she doesn't want her baby to be a cold-blooded killer!  However, I do kinda think she overanalyzed the situation a little bit.  She is very cautious, isn't she?  Also, doors to a new s/l opened somewhat last night...we saw Mike swallow some pain pills.  What are those for?  Actually, I know the answer...I'll tell you later when I'm discussing spoilers, in case there's anyone here who doesn't like to be spoiled.

 

Moving onto Lynette...her s/l thrilled me last night!  I could've died of a heart attack caused by joy when the doctor told her she was cured!  The thing with the possum was funny too.

Lynette: "When that possum smells the smell of Halloween candy, he'll get hungry and come out, then...trick or treat!"

It appeared to be funny at first but then it got dramatic when we realized the possum symboled Lynette's cancer.  But after Lynette found out she was cured, she felt bad about the possum dying.  That scene was very powerful.  Hip-hip, Felicity Huffman!

 

Danielle: "You stop that Baby Hodge, we do not kick people, unless they are servant!"

LOL, Danielle dressing as Bree was classic!  Even though I saw that scene through a sneak peek I was still laughing as hard as I was the first time.

Bob: "Hey, what happened to my rug???"

LOL @ Bree telling Bob that Danielle kept a water balloon under her shirt to make it look like her water broke!  And LOL @ Adam knowing about Bree's fake pregnancy already!  I suppose that gynecologists can tell the difference between real pregnancies and fake ones.  Also, LOL @ the Scavo kids running away when they saw Baby Hodge!  So I wonder if they know that Danielle was really the pregnant one?  If so, I wonder if they will blab to others?  The scene where Danielle gave the baby to Bree was very touching and pretty sad.  I never thought I'd say this, but I felt sorry for Danielle.

 

Carlos dumping Edie pleased me, Gabrielle accepting Milton's offer of money in return for staying with Victor for 13 months displeased me, and Edie showing Victor the pics of Carlos and Gabrielle displeased me even more.  So the Solis reunion gets delayed even further!  Geez, when are these two lovers getting back together???  Come on writers, you're killing me here!  I'm nervous for Carlos...remember Victor said if he found out Gabrielle was cheating on him, he'd kill the other man.  WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  What's Victor gonna do to him?  What's Victor gonna do to Gabrielle?  Man, oh man!  Things are pretty messed up here!

Victor and Gabrielle go on a boat ride, and Victor confronts her about her affair with Carlos.  Gabrielle pushes Victor off his boat!  Yeah, you go girl! (I know I said this would be Carlos, but now they're saying it's Victor.  And like I said with Carlos last week, Victor survives this.)

 

The 8th episode will air on November 25th and will be called "Distant Past".

 

Episode Nine, "Something's Coming" (December 2)...

 

This is the tornado episode.  The title of this episode refers to the tornado that's on the way.  Also, "Something's Coming" was the name of a song in the phenomeonal Stephen Sondheim musical, "West Side Story"

 

So the tornado comes and destroys two houses; Bree's and Edie's (poor Edie's gonna be homeless AGAIN!).  Three people are killed; two of those deaths are people we already know and the other one is a man we haven't met before.  The two people we know already who die are...Victor and old lady Ida Greenberg!  Victor is killed by a piece of fence that comes flying at him.

 

Susan goes to Orson's dental office to confront him for prescribing Mike the pain pills (there's your answer).  Mike becomes addicted to those pills, and that's why Susan's upset.

 

Episode Ten (January 2008)...

 

Mike's been injured in the tornado; he's in the hospital and his injuries are serious, but not deadly.

 

At Victor's funeral, Gabrielle sits in the front pew.  She realizes how sad she is that Victor's dead and she leaves the church, overcome with sadness.

 

Annabel Foster (the woman that Tom hired at his ad agency in season 1 which upset Lynette because she's the woman Tom dumped for her) is back, but in a "different sense".  This is the same episode Tom and Lynette identify a woman's body, so...

I am very sad to inform you guys that Susan's baby will not live to see the world outside the womb :(

 

Family Guy...

 

The FG clip show was fun.  And the 100th episode was very good.  Nice dark humor.  So what's gonna happen with Lois and Stewie?  I have no FG spoilers for you guys, but I do know that next episode is called "Lois Kills Stewie", so there's a hint for ya.

Ok quick question, I am so lame and fairly new at computers so I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way I could help my connection?, cause I try to go on youtube and watch stuff but my connection so horrible that it just keeps turning on and off, a 22 second video clip takes 30 minutes to watch. My phone line is horrible I know that but there's nothing I could really do about that, or is there? I'm starting to panic cause I don't have soapnet and thus I don't have Night Shift but youtube and other places are supposed to have it and unless I figure out how to fix my connection speed I'm up the creek, if you get my drift

And if anyone was wondering I have 3 or 4 lines conected directly to the main phone box outside coming inside to connect to my phone and computer and the reason I can't change that is cause all my phone box connect thingies inside don't work and by the time I make an extra $600 trust me I called that's what they charge to fix the boxes Night Shuft not to mention everything else will be over.  HELP PLEASE!! Thankyou.

This looks good.  It's a scene involving Tom and Lynette for Sunday's episode, "Into the Woods".  Felicity Huffman totally nailed this scene!!!!
