According to Wikipedia's page for the General Hospital cast, Logan is leaving in June! I take everything on Wiki with a grain of salt (sometimes two), but they've been accurate for a while that I've seen. A waste of a character and storyline, I say. Where did Scott go? Why did they never bring Sabrina to town? Get Logan a real love interest other than Lulu? Are they just going to randomly send him off, kill him, make him another killer??? Okay, I sincerely doubt they would do the last one, since GH weathered its share of killers already, and it was a bit much even for me.We'll have to see if Logan departs or not, but I could definitely understand if the actor is frustrated and wants out: he's being going nowhere fast for a long time now. I do prefer Johnny, but I did think there was room for both guys in Port Chuck. Ah well, Cooper was killed off, too, and I hated that . . . Yet Spinelli, he of little manly prowess, goes on *eyebrow twitches* I will try not to hate on him, I just hate having a guy with no romantic potential taking up space, you know? It's a soap opera!

On a different note, I like Claudia and Nikolas! They're weirdly perfect, both broken and the spawn of insanity, both dark and brooding, a bit spoiled . . . The Russian Prince and the Mafia Princess! I should make a banner! What to call them? ClauNik? ClawsNik? If it were the holidays, NikClaus would be pretty funny :p I suck at naming couples, for reals . . .

Jason burning down Crimson Point (never so aptly named) was hilarious. I seriously had to LOL at how he stood there, just with that serious (Sephiroth) face, and then just hung around talking to Anthony. What nerve! I love it! I bet it won't go well, though. Jason never manages to go very long being the mob boss, does he? Ah, well, at least he didn't the mob to run a garage again! That was so silly. Not as silly as chasing around the monkey, but close . . . Yeah, close . . .

Sam is back, looking hot as usual, and . . . going to the range? That's her hobby? Wow, hardcore woman! Like Tomb Raider!

. . . I hate on Spinelli, then mention videogames as much or more than he does. Ha ha ha. At least I'm not on a soap opera! Spinelli isn't my problem necessarily, it's the way they write him to 1.) make such a HUGE deal about getting it on (come on, even the most introverted introvert can, I hope, manage to find their *ahem* way), and 2.) has the character not developing at all in any way other than expressing desire to be "manly" (his idea of what "manly" is, anyway) and never making good on his desires with action! Like I said, it's been like a year! Dude, from one loser to another, get with it! Slapstick will only take you thus far!

It's late an' I'm beat. I am around and watching GH, though. Haven't kicked the bucket yet ;-)

They got me again.  See how into my TV I get? I know this is Luke and Laura 2008 and still I let them blind me with Maxie’s hideous hair.  Once I read those blasted spoilers I always swear I’ll stay away from I got all mad that Lulu was going to “wash her hands of Johnny” when she never really had her hands on him.  Plus the Maxie crap had me really irritated, but I suspected since Johnny mentioned to Claudia that if he were noble he’d hurt Lulu so bad she’d have to write him out of her life, that Maxie would be what he would use to hurt her.  I dreaded that, but once I opened my eyes I saw it as the stepping stone it was and not a permanent pairing, I'm willing to play along through May. What am I babbling about?  I’ll explain.

 

In Luke and Laura, after he raped her and common sense would say she should stay far away from him and turn him into the police, she not only didn’t report him, she kept working at his disco so no one would suspect him.  After what Lulu saw at the hospital with Johnny and Sonny she should stay away, and she tried, but Johnny kept coming at her.  This time instead of staying around to protect him for hurting her, the female heroine went around making sure everyone knew he had an alibi for hurting her cousin (although in this case she doesn’t know he was involved so that’s a bomb waiting to go off later).  I truly think Johnny was using Maxie to make Lulu jealous enough to admit she wanted him, he knows their past and he did glance at her when he first started paying attention to Maxie.  That will give him his plan for what comes next.

 

Now we move to phase 3 of Luke and Laura.  This, like when I knew Brenda was going to wear that damn wire, is the train wreck I really don’t want to watch, but can’t make myself forget to record because I want to see if I’m right and I want to see Johnny handle the aftermath of losing her. This is the part where Luke had to flirt with and become engaged to Jennifer Smith to keep her father, mobster Frank Smith, from killing him and Laura both while Laura was forced to work at the disco she now wanted to flee since Luke had a new lady.  In this version, Johnny is going to set Lulu up to think he had sex with Maxie because his crazy father is on the loose and he won’t want her to be a target.  Since he’s in business with Luke, Lulu won’t be able to totally avoid him either. I think Lulu may find them on the Haunted Star as it would be the most hurtful place since she and Johnny made love there.  I do not think he will actually have sex with Maxie that would be too much of a betrayal of both Lulu and his own feelings.  I think once Lulu runs off, Johnny will turn his nasty side on Maxie and let her know he used her and she isn’t worthy of wiping Lulu’s shoes.  Maxie will then go after Lulu at work for revenge, but I think Lulu may finally get her own revenge and turn the tables on the Bad Blonde One. 

 

Since Logan is supposed to “not play nice about Johnny and Lulu” I think he will beat up Johnny for winning Lulu away and treating her so horribly.  Scott beat up Luke the day he was supposed to marry Jennifer after reading a love letter Laura wrote to Luke.  If Logan is guarding Anthony at Shadybrook, where Laura is at, maybe he’ll overhear Lulu pouring her heart out to her mom and go after Johnny.  Of course the day Luke married Laura he got to beat the crap out of Scott, so Johnny should get to get even later (smile).

 

The fourth phase of Luke and Laura was him taking her on the run from Frank saying he could put Frank away and get out of the mob with the decoded black book.  I don’t think Johnny is really meant to get out, but I do think he and Lulu will end up running and finally reuniting.  The most logical step would be for them both to get grabbed (perhaps the night of Crimson’s debut party?) and have to escape together.  I could also see Lulu seeing or hearing something and having to save Johnny, proving she still cared even though she thinks he betrayed her.  Best guesses for who they’ll be running from is Jerry Jax, who is supposed to take a turn for the bad, or Ian Devlin. 

 

What I’d bet money we’ll see:

• Johnny will immediately begin planning to keep Lulu safe once he learns Anthony is back in the game.
• Johnny will use Maxie to hurt Lulu, but he will not have sex with her.
• Johnny will confess to Claudia that he was trying to make Lulu jealous, but took it to the next level, and explain about Lulu’s past with Maxie.  Claudia will tell him there’s no going back from that.
• Logan will beat Johnny up while raging about his treatment of Lulu and a guilty Johnny, who always felt he should have stayed away from her, will not put up much of fight.
• This “hurt” phase will not last long.  Sweeps start in May and this is all coming at the end of April.  There are too many things that could go wrong popping up for it all not to hit the fan and put everyone in danger by mid-May. 
• Lulu and Johnny will spend part of the sleepy summer months on the run.  Anyone else see him helping to earn their keep as a piano player in a bar or something?

 What we may see:

• Lulu will get to leave town for a bit, either for work (fashion week) or to get away.  It will prevent her and Johnny from having run-ins and will make him wonder where she has gone.  She’ll come back changed and icy until the save.
• Luke may catch on to Johnny’s plan to hurt Lulu to keep her safe.  It would make him much more willing to help when Johnny needs it.
• Logan will think he still has a shot with Lulu after all only to get a big disappointment when she returns from her adventures with Johnny.  Maybe he’ll offer to take her to the debut and get stood up because she was grabbed.
• The bracelet Lulu dropped at the Zacharra’s will turn up on Johnny’s wrist or at least in his hand from time to time.  He didn’t give it back after all.
• The beloved character who dies is easily suspected to be Michael, but if Genie Francis is really gone for good and Anthony is at Shadybrook too, might he not kill Laura?  He did look into Lulu’s past.  If Luke is too grief stricken to act or flees town, Anthony will use it as a chance to get at an unprotected Lulu.
• Johnny turns up at Logan’s to threaten him, but Lulu is there and saves Logan and hurts Johnny by making it look like she had sex with Logan.

 Things I’d like to see:

• Lulu gets to finally beat Maxie with public humiliation (Diego’s old photos may appear for all to see at Crimson’s debut) or by taking her job (Maxie misses the debut because Lulu stole her car or locked her in somewhere).
• When they have to run, Lulu stops by Lucky’s for that carpetbag Laura carried in her running days.  When Johnny asks her what it is, she tells him it’s something the Spencers thought they were done with, but it will be a signal to her family that she needs help.  She’ll either leave it out for Lucky to find or maybe leave the door to the closet Laura kept it in open so Lucky will see it’s gone.  We know Lucky kept Laura’s things when Lulu found her classical records.
• Lulu steals Scott’s car to escape with Johnny.
• When Johnny learns how much she knows about running from the mob, he’ll get that shocked smile he gets when she surprises him with what bad stuff she knows.
• While on the run, all the truths come out between Johnny and Lulu:  who cheated, who shot Michael, Lulu’s abortion that made her not trust herself, Laura’s rape that taught Luke about forgiveness.
• Luke takes out Anthony.
• The comic genius who writes Sonny’s guards, Diane/Kate/Alexis, Spinelli, and Jerry beating up Scott plays a big hand in the escape and on the run scenes.

Diego!

 . . . Wow, I didn't see that coming! Awesome! Not only is it good to see Ignacio Serrichio again (especially with Ghost Whisperer off season), but it makes perfect sense. It ties everything together. Okay, his being alive is kind of random, but not the most unbelievable thing that has ever happened on GH. I like it! Great surprise, seriously, and also great since it does not involve any characters I like.

Jerry had nothing to do with it, right? And Logan is innocent, too! Yay! I like those two, want them to stick around more . . . and I would have hated them to make Jerry responsible for any of this. Really hated it.

I still am pretty interested in seeing the final confrontation, and how he explains all this. Crazy boy. He was already nuts, though, stalking girls on campus. Makes sense.

On other story fronts . . .

I still don't like Marianna much. I just hate the "poor little immigrant" act. It grates on my nerves. Plus, she is nowhere near pretty enough for Ric. I want Ric to have a go with Claudia! They'd be damn hot together. The only thing about his relationship with Marianna that I like is his hero act; it is nice to see him trying to be the straight guy you can rely on to save you. Romantic. Anyone hear the song "Face Down" by The Red Jumpsuits? Would make a good MV, right?

Speaking of Marianna . . . I wonder if she is related to Diego? He was the child of a woman Lorenzo had an affair with and left behind in Mexico, right? That might explain her desperation to be in the USA. Hmm . . .

Johnny and Lulu blew me away with their love scene. That guy has some arms on him! Wow! My eyes were glued to the screen. I think the TV has scorch marks now! HOT! That's all I'll say. DAMN HOT! I love that couple, I really do. So romantic, so cute . . .

I really want Logan to find love, too, though. Not with Lulu (sorry Logan), but he deserves another chance, a fresh start. He needs a girl. NOT Maxie, either! We need new female characters in Port Charles! Um, I'd like to be an actress. Wouldn't it be cool if Jerry and Irina had a hidden love child that was a 23-year-old female mercenary and sailed into PC to pull a job, just like dad? Okay, very BAD fan fiction storyline, but hell, that sounds like a character I'd love to play . . .

Anyway, was Claudia raped by her father??? Very dark grounds they're treading on there, if that is what they're going to do (which is what it sure sounds like to me). If Trevor has been drugging him all these years, though, that might explain it. I really, really like Claudia, she's my favorite female character in a while. I love how she dresses in black and red so much, her style is wicked! And even though she was a victim, she's a survivor. Yeah, a flawed one, but really, who isn't? She might be able to identify with Ric, being they were both hurt (if in separate ways) by their fathers, and are also both victims of Trevor. I think they could be very romantic. Please, please, please let the Powers That Be at least try it!

And, they could try my Irina and Jerry's child storyline, too. E-mail me! :p

All jokes aside, I actually completed a great fan fiction featuring Jerry and Cooper a few weeks ago (right after Coop's death episode). No stupid made-up characters, I promise! It is for slash fans only, though. Not the guitarist lol I'm not even sure if I should post the link here, but I really love slash fiction, it's my hobby, so . . . hell, I've got nothing to hide. Slash is M/M romance, btw, and see this article in Wiki for an explanation. If you are offended, please please please do not read it, and please please please do not flame me. I can't take it. Okay, I can, but it's really annoying . . .

Still with me? It's pretty obvious from that story why I really didn't want Jerry to be responsible for poor Three's death. GH might still throw me for a loop and integrate him into it, but I hope not. For more reasons than the story, too. I've been all "I Believe in Jerry Jacks" since the character came on, you know. Which is funny, because that is Harvey Dent's slogan, and Harvey turned out to be Two Face . . . Uh oh. Maybe I shouldn't use that line for him lol

Things were going so well I knew it had to be over soon. And it was over before it began really.

Sonny was almost likeable when he was with Kate, at the beginning.
We saw a softer side, the boy he used to be.
Now, he's back to being the same old abusive bastard that he actually is.
He talks down to Kate the entire time she's trying to explain herself to him. He's rude and abrasive.
I know, I know, fans of Sonny will say that his childhood, blah, blah, blah, poor injured Sonny, blah, blah, blah... basically all the excuses Kate's been spouting lately.
But if Kate wrote a Dear Abby letter describing Sonny's behavior, I can tell you, Abby would tell Kate to smarten up. You are dating a controlling jerk who has a pattern of abusive behavior.

Seriously, I can't stand Sonny. If he's not trashing Kate, or at the other end of the abusive pattern apologizing and showering her with love and saying all the right things, he's snapping at Jason.
So, in the past, Jason has been his best friend and right-hand man. After neglecting the business for months to pursue Kate, Sonny just marches back in and orders Jason around and to kill people with no proof of their guilt. Are we supposed to like Sonny or not? The show wants to portray him as a hero, but guess what, in my world people don't randomly order the deaths of people, especially people who don't happen to be guilty.

Why is Sonny so fixated on Johnny (who I LOVE by the way... hot, hot, hot)? Even though he knows Trevor is pulling the strings, even though he knows that Claudia has been taking charge of things lately, he insists on pulling a gun on Johnny on a regular basis. Part of me just wishes that one of the many people who hate Sonny (Trevor, Rick, Diego.... etc.) would just off Sonny. It would be dramatic and then maybe we could just get rid of this mob shit once and for all.

I watch soaps for drama and romance, but not for the godfather. I watch it in spite of all the mob crap. If it went away I would be thrilled.

 

Off the subject of the annoying character of Sonny....

I know Carly is preggo, but why did Jax need to apologize for their fight today? Carly puts Jason first before all her other relationships. Why should Jax accept that? He's hot, smart, rich and successful,  and yet he's supposed to play second banana for the rest of his life? That's ridiculous. You can love a friend and not put them ahead of your husband. Carly needs to get a grip. Jax deserves better.

The direction of the Lulu-Johnny-Logan triangle concerns me.
Thus far, I have loved Lulu. I have loved her since she started on the show.
I love Johnny, he's shown himself to be good, kind man who only wants the best for Lulu... so of course who know if this means that he will end up with the girl? GH doesn't like it's characters to treat women with respect.

I was initally a fan of Logan. I thought he would make a good match for Lulu, but then he slept with Maxie and I was done with him. There was no good reason for him to sleep with her. He rationalized that he "had to", but he didn't. Yes, Maxie could have told Lulu about their arrangement, but since Lulu had no faith in Maxie, since Logan could honestly say that he hadn't done anything, he would have been fine. But instead he slept with her on such a flimsy excuse, that he had to really want to. Even after Logan was a "changed man" he still is controlling and ass hat-ish to Lulu. He even continues to be mean to Spinelli. So, I turned away from Logan.
Now, Lulu and Johnny have slept together. I love them together. I know it's a soap so no character has an easy path to coupledom, but is Lulu really going to go back and forth between them now? I love her, but she won't sleep with both of them will she? I hope not. Johnny doesn't deserve that. He's damaged, but underneath he seems to have a really sweet soul.

 

I'm excited Diego is back. Maybe he'll actually kill Sam. That would be fun. I do like Sam with Lucky. When she's not attacking Liz, I don't hate Sam.
On the note of Diego being back... why would he kill Georgie? He had a crush on Georgie. Georgie liked Diego and always gave him the benefit of the doubt. And why Emily? or Leticia?
Sam I understand, she did kill him.
Alexis I understand, mother of the one who killed him and also killed his uncle.

Maxie I understand, she was never very nice to Diego after the whole photo thing.

With Diego having been the villian in two big mysteries... who is taking risque photos of girls and who is strangling girls... he is one sick puppy!

 

Speaking of sick puppies, I really want to love Jerry Jax. He is so adorable. So good looking. But, I don't want him to use Alexis. Can't he just do his deals somewhere else and find a soft spot for our tough as nails attorney? Redeem him already!

 

February was sad for GH. Last Feb, we had the metro court crisis (seems like it was a million years ago) and it was exciting tv. I was riveted. This year we have.... nothing. Just business as usual. Boo.
I guess we can't have a train wreck or hotel crisis every sweeps month, but instead we have hypocritical PSAs (GH against gun violence, really? no. really?) and boring PSAs that they later forget about, didn't Ephiphany have a heart attack? Or is she just taking a vacation?

Ok, I feel as though I've vented a little bit. I don't know anybody in real life who watches this show, so sometimes the stuff I think has to go somewhere so I can stop thinking about it.

After a long day, processing many kinds of billing for overseas travel documentation, I was ready for an escape. General Hospital is a great escape.

 

Usually I focus more on Jason/Elizabeth scenes. If there had been any, I would have been happily devouring those. Alas.. It's only a matter of time.. he he he.

 

In the meantime, Luke and Tracy are growing on me. In a good way, not like a fungus, although I do love mushrooms, haha. They have surprising chemistry. Their dialog is so entertaining, I actually looked forward to their scenes.

 

I wish the teens would-......get to be as intelligent with their dialog as Luke and Tracy. It would make them so much more likeable. And Luke, OMGosh Luke, hahaha, wow. Brilliant reaction to Lulu's situation!: *chug* "I need a drink" "No!" "No!" *chug* "No!!" LOL.

It's a better reaction than I expected. And then he only HIT Baldwin. I was expecting weapons useage. (lol: fists don't count)

 

So here's a question: why can't they hit Lucky over the head, memory-wipe him and get him a new career?? I mean, hello!... GV is handsome n all, but frankly, IMO Josh Duhon looks more like Luke than GV does....

 

And now a brief commercial: Life Fitness Rapid Energy gum is actually pretty good stuff. No caffeine. None needed. Massive B-12 amounts create the energy. No jitters, just energy. I'm loving this stuff. Flavors: spearmint and cinnamon. :)

So -seriously-, I'm well-beyond marinated in the LuSpin pining-sol (lol: one-sided pine-scented angst?) and I'm ready for Spin to wake up to Georgie.

 

But speaking of Sit'n'Spin, what the heck possessed Dr Lee to suggest Spinelli as fatherly material for Robin's baby? Shark-jumping 101....OY....Ah well, least likely candidate will probably win out...*shakes head*... Tis a sudsy soap after all...

 

No comment on Patrick/Leyla.. She's pretty. He's handsome. She should play harder to get. Oh well...
