Hurry Up And Remember Marty!!!

I've grown tired of Marty's amnesia already. The sooner she gets her memory back, the better she can get back to her life and her son. It must be murder on Susan Haskell to have to suffer through these roles. Marty needs to regain her memory now more than ever because Cole is looking to be in even more danger with Todd than he ever was. Even though Cole is one of my least favorite people as of late, he is still a kid after all and Todd is a grown man who is much taller and darker than him. The only thing that ever restrained Todd from assaulting Cole in the past was Mama Marty's presence. Once she was gone, all bets were off as far as he was concerned. And if Marty was around, she would help Cole see that putting the baby up for adoption is indeed the right thing to do (kudos to Starr for making the right decision for the first time since all of this mess began). There is no way that Cole can be ready to take on fatherhood. He only wants to hold on to the baby for selfish reasons.

Anyway, Marty is very needed right now. She needs to hurry up and recover so she can get back into the swing of things.

Todd Manning
I can't stand how Todd acts anymore.  It's just ridiculous and how crazy was it that a man like Ramsey was made commissioner!!!!!  What is up with that?  Todd is just mean, nasty and cruel.  He acts like he never did anything wrong.  Can't stand watching it anymore.  He needs to give Cole a break.

The Buzz About Renee Leaving *POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT*
So, she's leaving... maybe. So as the interview with TV Guide, she said she finished up at the beginning of this month and won't be back until a contract is negotiated. Rumors fly about what the circumstances here are. She wants outs for other projects, they don't want to give her it, etc, etc. That's not what I'm really concerned about. What I am concerned about is the number of people saying that REG leaving would be the end of the show. It's another doom and gloom scenario. That's what I'm addressing.

Bottom line: REG is a great actress. She's talented, don't get me wrong. I'd love to have her stay. No question. However, she's not so important that the show is in mortal danger as everyone seems to think it is. And unfortunately as many people that have Tangeline Dreams may wish, Evangeline Williamson isn't that much of a vital character. Evangeline is great with Todd. Yep. But so was Tea. Oh did you forget that they've all ready done the Todd with his lawyer bit?

Evangeline's departure is not going to be a mortal blow to the heart of this show. That's going to be when Brian Frons gives Dena Higley an extension as head writer. This show has endured bigger departures and bigger names leaving. This show survived Roger Howarth and Todd's full departure from the show. As much as I love REG/Evangeline, she is no where this league. She's big, but not big enough to leave a significant dent. Yeah we may miss our Todd and Evangeline.... but the show will move forward. And this may be an opening for Trevor St. John to have some very emotional scenes if they do go with something putting Evangeline in a coma.

So to the Tangeline Dreamers, the REG fans and the OLTL, trust that something can work out and no that if it doesn't, then REG will do something else and OLTL will move on. Besides, this saves Evangeline from any more horrible fates at the hands of the Higley-Hack. And who knows, maybe ABC/OLTL can lure Victoria Rowell over to be the recast for Evangeline? You'd like that wouldn't you. Ya you would.
