New Format and Music
I still do not like the new format and music.  I can hardly hear what the actors are saying, and the natural lighting stinks!!!

Dumb music tracks
Is anyone else annoyed by the really, really dumb music tracks that are constantly in the background now?
This is the worst idea ever.
Another beef....the "Abbott Mansion"....give me a break.  The dining room is only about 12 paces from the front door and the living room is way small to be in a "mansion".  The Newman ranch is another example of
grand Hooterville decor.  Hardly impressive....all that cheap fabric, pink walls with orangey wood trim....awful and hardly where one would expect the Mustache to dwell.  There is not even an entry hall for God's sake.   Not the least bit grand, or sophisticated....I guess Nicki decorated this place without professional help.   I'm really disappointed by the sets on this show.  You'd think that at least Neil's club would look good but it doesn't.

The story lines have really gotten weak...and they usually go nowhere !

Far Away From here Song on Guiding Light

I just recently requested  Far Away From Here from a U Tuber, kinkyprincess1982. She has mad GL videos posted on her site, so if you email her, she'll send you the song. She sent it to me, so you can get it from me as well.

1999, THE YEAR/SUMMER OF GREAT POP MUSIC
Of course what is great music is purely a subjective thing. But its funny how an off hand conversation like Britney Spears' troubles can take you on a stroll down memory lane. So my girlfriend and I were talking about Britney and she mentioned her crappy new song Piece of Me and I told her I still haven't heard it. So I go to Youtube and watch it. Its not my cup of tea, but then I notice in the related videos, "Hit Me Baby One More Time". For old time sakes, I clicked on it and instantly, it took me back to high school. My sophmore year going into my junior year. I clicked on more Britney videos. I sung along to songs I have not sung to in years. But it didn't stop at Britney. Oh no, how can you have a '99 pop revue without the other 3/4 of the Big Four from that year. So I looked up N'Sync's Tearin Up My Heart. From there it was Backstreet Boys and "I Want it That Way", "Show me the Meaning of Being Lonely". And then of course, the sort of lone survivor(besides JT) from that great era, Christina Aguilera "What a Girl Wants". It all came flooding back. Samantha Mumba's "Gotta Tell You". Mandy Moore's "Candy" and LFO with "Summer Girls". Suger Ray, J-Lo's first album. I am quite sure there is a whole slew I have forgotten, not even scrathing the surface on Ricky Martin and "Livin La Vida Loca". Anyone else who happened to enjoy pop music during that time got any other faves? Or maybe you can share a year in music that was tops for you?

Christmas music & movies!

Shhhhh! I have a secret!  Can you keep a secret?  I have a weakness for Christmas music! Smiley  Especially the "oldies" like I would hear on t.v. commercials when I was a kid when they would sell albums of certain artists (probably most of whom are no longer with us).  Yes youngsters!  "Albums"!  Google it! Smiley  HA!HA!  It is not exactly my usual musical taste.  I'm not sure what comes over me!

Also, my favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story".  "You'll shoot your eye out!"  Oh, I forgot about "It's a wondrful life"!  I should watch that one soon, I haven't seen it for a few years.
