Sabrina @ soapcentral.com
Todays episode in particular. I'm with Victoria on this...it's quite disturbing.
NEXT....Sabrina should have gotten in between Colleen and Adrian..finally giving them a worthy storyline. That would open up for a Colleen/Adam/Heather triangle.
See I should write for Y&R...they just don't get it....
Audrey Hepburn is the most classy lady, a truly great woman and great actress. I have quite a few of her movies on DVD....

Breakfast at Tiffany's... obviously a classic. Audrey is so beautiful in this movie, and George Peppard is one sexy guy! Holly Golightly is such a familiar name. I knew that name before I had seen the movie. The movie is based on a story by Truman Capote, which I actually have not read yet. Holly Golightly is a care-free play girl that does not want to be attached to anyone (at least until she marries a billionaire). She will not even name her cat (which she calls "cat"). George Peppard plays her neighbor and love interest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUvUHMyJ8a0
Charade This movie is one of my favorites. Possibly because it was the first Audrey Hepburn movie I saw. Has anyone seen "Truth about Charlie"? Well that is a remake of Charade. Charade also stars the very handsome Cary Grant. I heard Cary Grant was uncomfortable about the age difference, so the movie was written to portray Audrey as the seductress. Audrey plays a woman who's husband has been murdered. She is then pursued by her husband's "business partners" who think she is hiding a lot of money from them. Cary Grant's character is written in a way that the audience does not know if he is friend or foe (until the end). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cdk67x7VsNA
Funny Face Audrey plays a "plain jane" librarian who becomes a model. The photographer/love interest is played by Fred Astaire. This movie is a musical, lots of singing and dancing. One scene of the movie, is now being used by The Gap (hate it by the way). This scene is from the movie, but anyone that has seen the Gap commercial, will know what I mean... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiNbYdPxCMQ
How To Steal a Million Another one of my absolute favorites. In this one, Audrey plays a woman who has a father that forges art. When he lends a fake statue to a museum, Audrey's character hires a thief to steal it back before it is discovered as a fake. The thief (and love interest) is played by Peter O'Toole. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB6MgLHsWV0
My Fair Lady I know this is a classic too, but to be honest, I could hardly get through it. I found Eliza Doolittle very loud and annoying. It is a musical, lots of singing. Eliza is supposed to be an uneducated woman who is turned into a "Fair Lady" by Rex Harrison's character. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HOpYKnbXLs
Paris When it Sizzles Since I'm a big fan of Audrey movies, I can say with confidence that Audrey usually has either short hair, or wears her hair up most of the time. In this movie however, you see her hair down in one scene. This movie is similar to that movie with Kate Hudson and Luke Wilson (can't remember what it is called.) Audrey plays a woman hired by a screenwriter, played by William Holden. They must write a script in three days, and their somewhat far fetched ideas are played out by them throughout the film. I'm so mad that I can't find a clip of this one. It was a really good movie.
Roman Holiday Another classic. This movie is about a princess (Audrey), who decides to run away from the pressures of her duties. She gets picked up by a reporter, who's intentions are less than honorable since he knows exactly who she is and wants to write a story about her. Of course they end up falling in love. The reporter is played by the very handsome Gregory Peck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeHdf32PTIk
War and Peace Another snoozer to me! I have watched this movie only once, and it was hard to get through. Based on Leo Tolstoy's novel, Audrey plays Natasha. This movie also stars Henry Fonda. It is a tragic romance. I couldn't find a clip for this movie either.
Wait Until Dark Is a great thriller. Audrey plays a blind women who, unknown to her has drugs in her possession. The men trying to get the drugs from her are playing with her head. This movie also stars the very talented (and in this movie, scary) Alan Arkin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3xhA-XJ5-Y
Sabrina Saved the best for last. Sabrina must be the best movie ever. Everyone has probably seen a version of it, if not the original. Audrey plays Sabrina, a chauffeur's daughter in love with the young man her dad works for. When their relationship causes trouble for the man's company, his older brother decides to romance Sabrina in a plan to ship her off to Paris and out of their lives, of course the plan backfires when he falls in love with Sabrina. The younger brother is played by William Holden, and the older brother is played by the infamous Humphrey Bogart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX6fQo58UGc
