Well soap fans, I am back with another installment of my video blog "In the Bubble." I figured that the Daytime Emmys provided the perfect chance to really get the video feature moving with full steam.

 

There will be several installments in this series, each focusing on a different section of the Emmy ballot. I hope that you enjoy them.

I think what the world needs right now is a good old fashioned, trashy talk show. Something along the lines of Sally Jesse Raphael, Jenny Jones or Ricki Lake. Why did Ricki Lake ever go off the air?

Think about how good you felt when you watched a Ricki Lake classic like "My tranny brother is sleeping with my husband" or I'm gay and my wife doesn't know it. I'll be honest whenever I watched one of those shows, I felt so good about my life. No matter how bad, or how much drama I had going on, at least I didn't have to worry about Jenny Jones trying ot do a make over on me or sending me to boot camp.

I like to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone-while I have no significant other at the present time I'm not one of those people who curse Valentine's just cuz I don't have one(as much as I understand the feeling).

 

Since this is technically a soap board I'll begin with GH-- I sure hope now that the writers strike is thankfully over the show will get better, cuz lately it's been lagging IMO. It just seems that nothing's moving as far as storylines everything seems to be stuck in place.

 

Daytime talk show THE VIEW:   Half the time I don't know if I like this show or hate it, but I know one thing as individuals I can't stand any of the ladies-Barbara Walters being the absolute worst I can't even watch when she's on, she's like that teacher no one liked in school, but everyone had to kiss her butt so you would'nt get in trouble.-Elizabeth Hasslebeck I don't know if I can even speak on her, it's hard cuz I don't believe any of her beliefs so most of the time I just try to ignore her, otherwise I'll go nuts.

Joy Behar is supposed to be the funny one(and sometimes she is)  most of the time she's just loud and obnoxious, but she does make good points sometimes.-Whoopi  It might be me, but I get the feeling that she feels she's too good to be there, she reminds the audience and her co-hosts how great she is every five minutes-we get it you're an oscar winner who lived the super star life.-Sherri Sheppard, I personally think she's funny, but she's playing the dumb girl who does'nt know anything(the world is round,or how to vote) a little to much. Those are just my opinions on the ladies.

 

NASCAR- What the hell happened to all the engines, Dale Jr. had enough engine failures last yr to last him a lifetime please no more.

MLB- What a freak show the hearings on Cap hill were-Is Roger Clemens lying? I don't believe anyone anymore.

NFL-So the news has come out that Patriots head coach Bill Belicheck has been taping people since 2000, yet they barely got a slap on the wrist-hay they lost the SuperBowl and the perfect record-that's called KARMA.

 

ENTERTAINMENT- Unbelievable(maybe not) Hilton arrested on DUI, no not Paris, her younger underage brother Barron, and to top it off he could'nt find anyone to bail him out-he was in there a good 5-6 hrs, that's more than most of the others who were convicted of drunk driving.

Whatz up Yall?  I just need to get some things out of my system, so if you read this and it does'nt make much sense I apologize.  I have decided to officially boycott the SuperBowl HALFTIME SHOW until they get a female entertainer, cause ever since the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction it's been a all mens club. First it was Paul McCartney, then it was the Rolling Stones, and last year it was Prince( who is awsome so I gave it a pass) Anyway this year it supposed to be wait for it, can you guess? You're thinking of who? Well it's Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to play halftime at this years SuperBowl, Yes I'm serious, and I really hope they don't suck too bad.        

 

I would probobly boycott the entire SuperBowl, but considering how good my Cowboys are doing I could'nt make that statement, and now Tony Romo is dating Jessica Simpson, how long will this one last? I'm not too happy about this relationship of his, but as long as they keep winning more power to him, he changes girlfriend like every few days so I'm not to worried, well I am kind of worried cause I don't trust Jessica's pimp, oops I mean dad he seems to be the one who set them up and he might like him(Romo) better than Jess does.

 

Back to my original point the SuperBowl HALFTIME SHOW, it seems as if all these upper management  NFL guys are now scared of anyone with breasts, IMO Janet Miss Jackson if you're nasty, wardrobe malfunction was'nt even a controversy until the 24 hour newsstations got a hold of the footage and started replaying it over and over and freeze framing it and pointing out exactly where to look, otherwise I would have never seen it. If you ask me people need to just lighten the hell up.

 

 

So my real question--------- Who would be your Fantasy SuperBowl Halftime show performer/s?

Mine would be Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5,including female Jacksons, and/or all the 80's hair bands just cause that would be hillarious to see, I don't know who do you think?
