How do wiki pages work?
soapcentral.com wiki pages are made up of several areas - page content, member list, and comments. Member list and comments are self-explanatory, but page content has some very unique functionality:
- Anyone can edit the page content and style, using HTML and CSS by clicking on the "Edit page content" and "Edit style" links.
- Each time someone makes a change and saves it, soapcentral.com stores it on the "History" page. That way if someone makes a mistake, the previous version can be restored.
- The community serves as the "editors." If someone posts information that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise messes up the page, the community makes edits and/or restores previous versions.
The idea is to continually add new content that makes the page more informative, entertaining, and better looking.
What type of content should I add?
Anything that "adds value" to the page. News, links, photos, video, etc. that are relevant to the topic of the page are all welcome content.
What type of content should not be added?
