Kristoff St. John has returned to the role of The Young and the Restless' Neil Winters, and his costars couldn't be more thrilled to have him back.

Emmy-winning actor Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) made a much-anticipated return to the set of The Young and the Restless, and his CBS Daytime family is just as happy as fans are.

St. John had to take a break from the nation's number one soap opera while under a doctor's care, so his comeback is extra special. So much so, Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) posted an enthusiastic social media update with a photo of his and Eric Braeden's (Victor Newman) reunion with their costar.

"The look of joy on Eric's face really says it all!" Goddard wrote. "We are such a close knit group and always have each other's backs... Everyone has missed you Kristoff & we can't begin to tell you how happy we are to have you back!"

Of course, there was work to be done as well, and St. John shared a video of himself before getting ready to hit the scripts.

"We're gonna run lines now fool!" Back on the Y&R set!!! With @brytonejames #YR45

St. John's on-air return is scheduled for sometime in mid-April. And though Neil hasn't been gone that long, he might be in for quite a shock when he sees how much has changed since he's been a part of the canvas.

How do you feel about St. John's return to Y&R? What kind of storyline do you hope the writers have in store for Neil? We want to hear from you -- so drop your comments in the Comments section below, tweet about it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, or chat about it on our Message Boards.
