Sean Carrigan finds himself On the Verge after his run at The Young and the Restless

Having wrapped his brief return as The Young and the Restless' Stitch Rayburn, Sean Carrigan can now be found on a charming new Netflix series starring Julie Delpy and Elisabeth Shue.

Sean Carrigan's recent return to The Young and the Restless was a roller coaster, with his alter ego, Stitch Rayburn, being outed as Mariah's (Camryn Grimes) kidnapper. But just because he's long gone from Genoa City doesn't mean the fun of seeing him on-screen has to stop: the actor can currently be seen in the new Netflix series On the Verge.

The lighthearted comedy follows the lives of four middle-aged friends -- Justine, Anne, Ell, and Yasmin (played by Julie Delpy, Elisabeth Shue, Alexia Landeau, and Sarah Jones) -- who experience a generous side of midlife crises as they dig into love and work in pre-pandemic L.A.

"Offering a different view of middle-aged women than what shows like Desperate Housewives presented, On the Verge chronicles these four women's lives and the awkward, and at times absurd, situations they find themselves in," writes Forbes. "It feels similar to Girls, Sex And the City or the Spanish series Valeria in the way that it portrays a tight-knit group of women friends."

Carrigan played the role of Y&R's Ben "Stitch" Rayburn from 2013 to 2017, returning for a brief story arc this summer. Some of the Virginia native's other credits include American Vandal, Lucifer, Everyone is Doing Great, and the Oscar-nominated film Ford v Ferrari.

What do you think about the premise and casting of On the Verge? How do you feel about the way Y&R's writers handled Carrigan's brief return to the role of Stitch this summer?
